Bowle mora stajati na ledu i neposredno prije pozluživanja doda se šampanjac ili soda-voda s komadićima leda. Pusti se ohladiti i dobro izmiješa sa 4 dcl sirup-šećera s valilijom i 3 dcl slatkog vrhnja, stavi se u oblik sladoleda u stroj i vrti dok se ne smrzne. Kotlić ili posuda za sladoled mora biti savršeno čista, a njezin otvor mora se premazati maslacem. Posuda se vrti 1 sat neprekidno. Rubovi se obrišu. Poslije pola sata sladoled se izmiješa srebrnom žlicom i opet rubovi premažu i stave na led. Da se sladoled brže stvrdne, stavi se na led malo salmijaka. Sve se ovo tuče sa šibom za snijeg dok ne postane gusto. Hladna se smijesa stavi da kuha i neprestano miješa. Napose se zamiješa 20 dkg maslaca s 10 dkg šećera uz malo vanilin-šećer.
